William Wrigley II has become the CEO of Atlanta-based Surterra Wellness. He entered the company in August as chairman following a $65 million investment.

In 2018, Surterra had just 100 employees, now the marijuana company employs 500, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

Wrigley said, “When I understood the massive benefits, it really changed my mind about the industry. You don’t see many opportunities to have that kind of an impact in an industry that is being created from scratch.”
